Booking Grey Eagle for early 2027: what will be closed

The resort's updates page says the Buffet stays open through 31 December 2026 and then closes for renovation in January 2027, reopening after the refresh; the pool is closed with free access to a nearby aquatic centre instead; Blaze is "expected to reopen in August" without a year attached. Renovation work continues in phases through 2026–2027.

For a winter stay that means: dinner at Little Chief (reserve ahead), daytime food at the Stage Bar, the Grab N' Go counter for a quick lunch, and the food truck if it is out. The hot tub and sauna are open and, in our experience, better in minus twenty than in July. The payoff is rates: January and February mid-week nights are the quiet floor of the year.
