The Event Centre, the Concert Night Getaway, and a night out at Grey Eagle

Grey Eagle Event Centre

The concert hall seats roughly 2,500 theatre-style according to the resort and listing services (one listing service quotes 3,000 general admission), with an L-Acoustics K2/K3i concert sound system. Past acts cited by the resort include Burton Cummings, Gordon Lightfoot, Jay Leno, Ice Cube, Lainey Wilson, The Offspring and ZZ Top. Box office: 403-385-3747. The resort lists the Event Centre as open to all ages, unlike the casino floor.

Concert Night Getaway

The package bundles two tickets to a select Event Centre show with an overnight stay in a Standard King or Two Queen room. Which shows qualify changes with the calendar; mention the show in your room request and we check whether the package applies to your date.

Timing dinner on a show night

Little Chief switches from OpenTable to phone and email on concert nights (403-719-8777, littlechief@greyeagle.ca) and fills with the same crowd you will sit beside. Book the early seating and finish before doors. Miss the window and the Buffet inside the casino serves until 1 AM; the Stage Bar covers the afternoon.

Meetings and events

More than 32,000 square feet of event space with eight convertible meeting rooms, for groups the resort says range from 2 to 3,000; banquets and weddings are catered by Little Chief Catering.

The rest of the evening

The outdoor hot tub and sauna are open after the show; the fitness centre runs 24 hours; the hotel offers s'mores kits with a firepit service, board games and a PS5 gaming room bookable at the Front Desk. The pool, as noted across this site, is closed during the casino renovations.
